500 Years of Christianity Countdown

“Ngayon ang preparation ay for World Youth Day, yung July WYD sa Poland. Were waiting for polish consulate to issue the documents and the process that they will implement as regards with the visa application. On the Episcopal Commision on Youth, we have 340 pilgrims and outside of that yung iba-ibang grupo probably they will have 1,000 more and that we will only know if the Polish government implemented the process for visa application.” pahayag ni Garganta.

“Connected to how the holy father initiated the extraordinary jubilee year of mercy since the theme of the world youth day is also with the similar tone be merciful and you will be shown mercy. Indication not only for young people but to all Christians and Catholics to exercise mercy and compassion,” pahayag ng pari sa Radio Veritas

Binigyang-diin ng pari ang kahalagahan ng paghahanda sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng corporal works of mercy at spiritual works of mercy.

Noong 1995, idinaos sa Pilipinas sa Quirino grandstand ang World Youth Day na dinaluhan ng mahigit sa 5-milyong kabataan.
