Image of Saint Joseph to be enthroned at the Veritas Chapel

Radio Veritas is inviting the public to visit and pray before the image of Saint Joseph to be enthroned at the Veritas Chapel nine days before his feast day on March 20, 2017.

The station will hold a series of novena prayer from March 11, 2017, 11:30am in honor of St. Joseph as part of the preparation for his feast day.

Radio Veritas President Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual sends his invitation to all the Catholic faithful to come and visit the image of St. Joseph and ask for his intercession.

“We invite you to pray to Saint Joseph, husband of Mary and the foster father of Jesus. May he serve as an inspiration to all of us to live a simple life with perpetual trust and love with Jesus Christ, our Savior,” Fr. Pascual said.

St. Joseph is the corporeal father of Jesus Christ. He first appears in the Bible in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. In Matthew, Joseph’s lineage is traced back to King David.

Joseph is the patron saint of the Universal Church, families, fathers, expectant mothers (pregnant women), travelers, immigrants, house sellers and buyers, craftsmen, engineers, and working people in general.
